You are your child’s biggest advocate and your involvement is crucial to his/her success. Broward County has The Parent Involvement Office which is available with information and resources to help you stay informed and get involved in your child's education.

It takes many helping hands to produce the kind of quality education found at Indian Trace Elementary and there are many ways to get involved.  Our volunteers are a crucial part of the total school program.  They help in the classroom, work in the Media Center, help with PTA events, Field Day, and assist with various school activities.

All volunteers must register for the 2018/19 school year to obtain clearance prior to volunteering in the classroom, the online application is available online. Please visit www.getinvolvedineducation.com to be directed to the Broward County Volunteer Application.

We look forward to seeing you!

Changes to our Volunteer check-in

Dear parents,

For the safety of all our children, the volunteer badges have been moved. You will now have to wait for one of the lovely ladies (Brenda, Claudia, or Iris,) to check you in. They will give you your badge and you will return it to them when leaving. Please remember to log your hours in the volunteer book as well. If you have kids at different schools and need to keep your badge, you will also need to wait so they can check you in. Plan to arrive a little earlier than normal in case there is a line to check in.

Thank You
